Manzi Technologies is set to join mineral exploration in East Africa with a groundbreaking drone project slated for launch in May 2025. Partnering with Amber Geosciences LTD, this initiative combines cutting-edge technology with extensive regional expertise. The collaboration merges Manzi Technologies’ system integration and machine learning prowess with Amber’s deep understanding of East African geology.

At the core of the project is the deployment of advanced drone-based geophysical surveys equipped with state-of-the-art sensors. These drones will capture high-resolution data for detailed topographic maps, geological mapping, and environmental assessments. Manzi Technologies will apply proprietary AI algorithms to analyze vast datasets, accelerating exploration timelines, reducing costs, and improving accuracy. The application of AI enhances the ability to pinpoint new mineral deposits.

Kizito Serumaga’s 30 years of ICT strategic experience at Manzi Technologies combines with the skills of the leadership at Amber Geosciences to bring a wealth of knowledge to this venture. The project will focus on magnetic, electromagnetic, electrical resistivity, and GPR surveys and will target exploratory surveys for gold and rare earth metals.

Manzi Technologies and Amber Geosciences are committed to responsible exploration practices and sustainable development, aiming to minimize environmental impact while maximizing benefits for local communities. Targeting mining companies, researchers, and government entities in Uganda and Tanzania, the project aims to foster long-term relationships and contribute to the region’s mining sector growth. The goal is to empower clients with innovative solutions, enabling informed decisions and the achievement of their exploration goals.
